PEACE BY PIECE

SACRIFICIAL: Giving Radically

Sacrificial giving moves past the baseline and into territory that requires genuine faith. There’s a level of stretch here, and it might even feel like it costs something. That’s exactly the point. This kind of generosity mirrors what Jesus modeled on the cross: giving not from surplus, but from love. If you’re here, you’re not just supporting a church. You’re participating in something that reflects the very character of God.

SYSTEMATIC: Giving Routinely

Giving systematically is choosing trust over convenience. When generosity becomes a rhythm, it stops being a reaction and starts being a declaration that your hope is anchored in a God who gives abundantly, not scarcely. Systematic givers have decided ahead of time what they believe, and their giving reflects it. You can never outgive God, and this level of giving is where that conviction starts to show up in a real, consistent way.

SPORADIC: Giving Randomly

At this level, giving feels a lot like tipping — if the moment moves you, you respond. A compelling campaign, a friend’s GoFundMe, a Sunday where the message really lands. There’s a generosity here that’s real, but it’s driven more by emotion than intention. The good news is the impulse is already there. The invitation is simply to let that impulse grow into something you decide ahead of time, rather than in the moment.

STATIC: Giving Rarely

Life is busy, and generosity can feel like one more thing on an already full plate. Giving at this level tends to happen only in moments of obligation or guilt. If this is where you are, you’re not alone, and you’re not behind. Every generous person started somewhere, and recognizing where you are is the first step toward something more.

WHAT IS PEACE BY PIECE AND WHAT ARE YOU ASKING ME TO DO?

Peace by Piece is a church-wide initiative where we are prayerfully coming together to invest in the future mission and home of Passion Creek Church. We are asking every person to seek God about their role and make a joyful, sacrificial commitment to the vision.

WHEN DO I BRING MY COMMITMENT CARD?

We will have a special Commitment Sunday on May 17th, where everyone will have the opportunity to bring their commitment cards forward together as an act of worship. If you are unable to attend that day, you can bring it the following Sunday.

HOW LONG IS MY COMMITMENT?

Peace by Piece commitments are made for a two-year period. This allows our church to move forward with clarity and momentum as we take the next steps in our vision.

WHAT IS A ONE FUND?

One Fund means that all giving during this season goes toward one unified mission and vision. Rather than separating funds, we give together to support both our ongoing ministry and the future God is calling us to build.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL WAYS, BESIDES CASH, THAT I CAN GIVE TOWARD PEACE BY PIECE?

Yes. Many people choose to give out of their stored assets: stocks, donor advised funds, business income, assets, or other creative ways God has provided. If you would like help exploring these options, our stewardship team (finance@passioncreek.church) would be happy to walk with you through the possibilities.

DO WE HAVE LAND?

Yes. By God’s grace, we have 5 acres at 20521 E. Germann Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142. Feel free to drive by and pray over the property. We just ask you don’t drive very far into the property (so you don’t kick up too much dust for our neighbors).

WHAT IF I AM NEW HERE?

If you are new to Passion Creek, we simply invite you to take time to get to know our community and the vision God has given us. When the time is right, you can prayerfully consider how you might participate.
